Spectacular 400-drone light show celebrates Dong Nai becoming a city

On the evening of May 2, at Binh Phuoc Stadium (Binh Phuoc Ward), large crowds of Dong Nai City residents gathered to witness a dazzling artistic performance featuring 400 drones forming meaningful images across the night sky.

The event was organized by Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club to celebrate Dong Nai’s elevation to city status, express gratitude to fans, and mark the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026).

For about 15 minutes, the artistic light show of 400 drones amazed a large number of people with highly meaningful visual formations, considered as symbols of Dong Nai City. First, the national flag and Party flag were proudly formed in the sky, followed by many images such as: map of Vietnam, map of Dong Nai City; Long Thanh International Airport; riverside urban area; industrial park - factory; deer mascot; football, volleyball sports; graceful cranes…

Witnessing this artistic formation performance right at Binh Phuoc Stadium, Nguyen Thanh Vinh from Phuoc Long Ward, who came to watch, couldn't help but be excited and moved, saying: "Hearing that there would be an exciting drone show tonight, my family and I came very early from Phuoc Long, choosing a good spot to enjoy it. With the impressive images on the occasion of the locality officially becoming a city, I feel very proud and filled with many indescribable emotions. I hope my homeland Dong Nai continues to develop and prosper."

On this occasion, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club presented nearly 5,000 shirts printed with the words "Dong Nai City" to fans and residents. With these gifts, the Club wishes to help the people of Dong Nai City remember this momentous occasion for the locality.

Speaking about this meaningful activity, Le Van Binh, Executive Deputy General Director of Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club, said: Through the program, the club hopes to contribute to spreading the spirit of innovation, modernity, and the aspiration for development of the city in the new phase. This is also an opportunity for the club to express gratitude to the fans and local people who have always accompanied and supported the team during the past time. “ We expect the program not only to bring a new, emotional experience but also to contribute to creating an exciting atmosphere and community cohesion at this memorable moment…”
