Ceremony announcing NA’s Resolution on establishment of Dong Nai City

On the evening of May 18, the Dong Nai City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee  organized the Ceremony to announce the National Assembly (NA)'s Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City.

The ceremony was attended by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, President the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam. Also attending the event were former Politburo members: former State Presidents Nguyen Minh Triet and Truong Tan Sang; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former standing member of the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh. Current and former Politburo, PCC’s Secretariat and PCC members, incumbent and former leaders of the Party, the State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of central agencies, sectors, ministries, provinces and cities nationwide; diplomatic missions in Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of leaders of provinces in the Kingdom of Cambodia also took part in the ceremony.

Representing Dong Nai City were Member of the PCC, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Dong Nai City Delegation of National Assembly’s Deputies Vu Hong Van, along with current and former city leaders, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, Labor Heroes in the renewal period, the 16th NA deputies of Dong Nai City delegation, leaders of departments and agencies, religious dignitaries, and reputable ethnic community representatives.
