Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council deputies meet with voters across communes and wards

On October 31, deputies of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council met with voters in communes and wards across the province.

*At Chon Thanh Ward, Deputy of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council, Vu Thanh Ngu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, met with voters ahead of the year-end regular session of the 10th Provincial People’s Council, for the 2021–2026 term.

At the meeting, the voters were briefed by the provincial People’sc Council Deputy Vu Thanh Ngu on the province’s socio-economic and national defense-security situation during the first nine months of 2025, outcomes of the 10th Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council sessions, and the agenda for the upcoming year-end session. He also responded to issues and petitions raised by voters during previous meetings.

Voters of Chon Thanh Ward presented 25 petitions concerning issues, including the need for investment and upgrades to several traffic routes; construction of sidewalks along National Highway 13 through the ward’s inner area; consideration of opening the median strip of National Highway 13 near Phuc An General Hospital; compensation and support for project-related site clearance; dredging canals and building embankments along the Lanh stream; and allowance and policy issues for neighborhood associations, the elderly, and people with meritorious service.

Local authorities of Chon Thanh Ward and provincial PPC deputy provided explanations and clarifications on several issues raised. Those petitions that could not be addressed immediately were noted and will be forwarded to competent authorities for review and response as soon as possible.

Voters were informed by the Provincial People’s Council Deputy Bui Thi Minh Thuy about the province’s socio-economic and national defense-security situation in the first nine months of 2025, results of Provincial People’s Council sessions, agenda of the upcoming year-end session, and responses to petitions from the previous mid-year voter meeting.

During the meeting, the voters raised petitions related to various livelihood-related issues, including: repair, upgrading, and construction of rural roads; planning and displaying of traffic routes on cadastral maps; allowances for grassroots Front and mass organization officials; regular health check-ups for the elderly; collapsed drainage systems posing safety risks; as well as issues regarding healthcare, public health, and the issuance of land-use rights certificates.

Deputy of the Provincial People’s Council Bui Thi Minh Thuy addressed several matters of the voters’ concern, while recording and compiling others for submission to relevant agencies for consideration and resolution in accordance with regulations. She also expressed her wish to continue receiving the support and cooperation of voters, contributing together with Party committees and local authorities to effectively achieve socio-economic development goals and improve people’s material and spiritual well-being.
