The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Vietnam (MIC) has just issued decision No 24/2008/QD-BCT on August 1st 2008 about issuing automatic licenses for importing some goods.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Vietnam (MIC) has just issued decision No 24/2008/QD-BCT on August 1st 2008 about issuing automatic licenses for importing some goods: vegetables, some kinds of bulbs; coffee, tea, spices; fat, salad oil; products made from meat and fish; sugar, candy, biscuit; products made from grain, flour, starch or milk; beverage, wine and vinegar; attar; perfume, cosmetic, soap and products used for washing; plastic and products made from plastic; rubber and products made from rubber; leather productions; paper and carton; products made from pulp, paper or carton; carpet and weaved productions; clothes, knitwear or crocheted products; hat, pottery, porcelain; glassware; products made from iron or steel; aluminum and products made from aluminum; electronic machine and equipment; watch and stop-watch; furniture; toys, sport tools.
Following this Decision, automatic importing licenses will be issued for each batch of goods after the importing registration of businessman.
Documents include: registration form, Certificate of trading, Importing Contract, L/C, waybill of the batch, report of importing batches of goods which have had licenses of MIC before and confirmed customs declaration.
The officers who issue licenses don’t directly receive documents. The time-limit is within 10 working days form the receiving day.
