Speaking at the meeting, Vo Hoang Khai, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, said that the creation, protection, management, and commercialization of intellectual property assets play a vital role in strengthening brands, enhancing product value, expanding markets, and supporting the sustainable development of enterprises. However, many businesses, cooperatives, manufacturing establishments, universities, and other entities across the city still face challenges in identifying intellectual property assets, establishing industrial property rights, and exploiting and commercializing intellectual property rights. He noted that the delegation’s direct consultation and support program is both timely and highly practical for the locality. It is expected to strengthen efforts to create, protect, manage, utilize, and develop intellectual property assets.
