Cat Lai Bridge architecture with idea of “Reaching new heights”

The architectural design concept of Cat Lai Bridge blends the gentle curves of the Dong Nai River with the vigorous vitality of industrial crops and fruit trees characteristic of Dong Nai province, reflecting the dynamism, modernity, and strong upward momentum of development.

Cat Lai Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with two pylons. The first-prize design concept, titled “Reaching new heights,” symbolizes harmony and integration between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City, reflecting the pioneering spirit and strong development aspirations of the Southern Key Economic Region.

The design of Cat Lai Bridge, particularly its two pylons, combines strong, decisive structural forms with soft, nature-inspired lines, creating a modern architectural work that still preserves the cultural identity of the provinces and cities involved in the project area.

Cat Lai Bridge is designed with six lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes for non-motorized traffic, forming a vital transport artery between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.
