The qualifying round attracts 18 under-21 football teams participating in three groups.
According to the draw for the tournament held virtually yesterday, Dong Nai will play in group A held in Ha Noi with five other teams including Ha Noi, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa and GiaDinh.
The top two teams from each group one third-place team with the most points will advance to the final round where they will battle host PVF between December 16 and 25.
