According to a report presented at the conference, as of June 30, the branch's total capital resources had reached more than VND13.7 trillion, up more than VND1.6 trillion from the beginning of the year. Of this, local budget funds entrusted through VBSP amounted to more than VND3 trillion, an increase of nearly VND700 billion, showing the attention paid by local Party committees and authorities to supplementing resources for policy credit.

During the first half of the year, the branch disbursed nearly VND3 trillion in loans, benefiting almost 44,000 poor households and other policy beneficiaries.

Policy credit continued to deliver tangible socio-economic benefits, helping create and sustain employment for nearly 16,600 workers. It also enabled nearly 19,400 households to build or upgrade rural clean water and sanitation facilities, while providing financial assistance for more than 1,800 students from disadvantaged backgrounds to continue their education. Concessional loans also helped many households access social housing programs, expand production, increase incomes and improve their living standards.

In addition, credit quality remained strong, with the branch and 100% of its subordinate transaction offices rated good. Operations at commune-level transaction points remained stable, enabling people to access capital sources right in their localities. The branch also promoted digital transformation by deploying applications for credit management and cashless payments and applying artificial intelligence (AI) to certain professional operations.

In his concluding remarks, Le Ba Chuyen, Director of the Dong Nai City VBSP Branch, instructed the entire system to continue proactively advising Party committees and local authorities on effectively implementing Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat on enhancing the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period. He also called for greater mobilization of resources for policy lending, timely disbursement of credit programs, continued improvements in credit quality, stronger inspection and supervision, and further acceleration of digital transformation.

At the same time, the entire branch continues to respond to the special 500-day-and-night emulation campaign themed "Unity – Discipline – Efficiency – Breakthrough, building a civilized and modern Dong Nai", contributing to the effective implementation of national target programs, creating jobs, developing social housing, and ensuring social security across the city.

On the occasion, the Dong Nai City VBSP Branch presented awards to 26 collectives for outstanding performance during the second quarter of 2026. Several individuals who made significant contributions to the city's socio-economic development and national defense and security were also awarded certificates of merit by the Dong Nai City People's Committee.
