Construction of the section of the project within Go Dau Industrial Park commenced in mid-May 2025.

The jet fuel pipeline system project is part of Component Project 4, which covers aviation service facilities for Phase 1 of the Long Thanh Airport project. The project comprises two parallel pipelines, each more than 23 kilometers long, with an expected diameter of 12–16 inches, connecting the source depot at Go Dau Industrial Park to the fuel storage facility at Long Thanh Airport.

Meanwhile, Package 4.9, which covers the construction and installation of equipment for the jet fuel supply system at Long Thanh Airport under Component Project 3, has now been basically completed. The package includes six above-ground tanks for storing jet fuel, each with a capacity of 6,000 cubic meters, along with auxiliary systems to support fuel supply when Long Thanh Airport begins operations. Under the system design, fuel will be pumped from the storage tanks through the pipeline network to refueling hydrants installed on the passenger terminal apron at Long Thanh Airport for aircraft refueling.

In accordance with the Government's requirement, Phase 1 of the Long Thanh Airport project must be completed and put into commercial operation by the end of 2026.
