The toll collection system is expected to be completed by November 2026, enabling toll collection and ensuring seamless integration with other key transport infrastructure projects, including the Ben Luc–Long Thanh Expressway, the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway, and Long Thanh International Airport.

The approximately 54-kilometer Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway stretches across Dong Nai City and Ho Chi Minh City. Its entire main route has been open to traffic since May 18, 2026.

Phase 1 includes the construction of an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), toll station, vehicle weight inspection facilities and operation centers. For Component Project 1, the project will build a toll collection area, a toll station and a vehicle weight control facility at the starting point of the expressway (Km0+700).

Under Component Project 2, the Long Thanh Interchange will make use of the existing toll stations on the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway. At the Long Thanh Airport Interchange, two new toll stations will be built on the entrance and exit ramps of the airport connector road. At the Tan Hiep Interchange (Km29+400), a Traffic Management Center (TMC) will be constructed to support traffic management and maintenance. The interchange will also include a toll station and a vehicle weight control system featuring a weigh station and U-turn lanes for overloaded vehicles.

For Component Project 3, toll collection areas, toll stations and vehicle weight control facilities will be constructed at the My Xuan–Ngai Giao Interchange (Km36+120), the Chau Pha Interchange (Km43+050) and the end of the route at Km53+700.
