Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai City People's Committee, said Dong Nai is entering a new phase of development. With Long Thanh International Airport preparing to commence operations and a growing network of expressways and ring roads taking shape, a new development landscape with enhanced connectivity is gradually emerging in Dong Nai, opening up opportunities for investment, urban expansion, industrial growth, commerce, services and logistics.

Against this backdrop, investment in transport connectivity projects has become increasingly important. He described DT.770B as one of the city's strategic transport corridors, linking Northern and Eastern areas of Dong Nai with National Highway 51, major expressways, industrial parks, logistics centers and, most importantly, Long Thanh International Airport.

Once completed, the road will create a new transport corridor, easing congestion on existing routes, shortening freight transit times, reducing logistics costs and strengthening links between industrial parks, production centers, seaports and Long Thanh International Airport.

The project is also expected to strengthen Dong Nai's competitiveness in attracting investment while supporting the development of manufacturing, logistics and other high-value-added service industries.

"Beyond improving transport connectivity, the road will unlock the development potential of land along the corridor, supporting the growth of urban areas, industrial parks and service zones. It will also help accelerate economic restructuring, create jobs, raise incomes and improve people's quality of life," Nguyen Tuan Anh said.

He also called for close coordination with relevant departments, agencies and local authorities to promptly resolve any issues arising during implementation.
