The conference introduced key provisions of Decree No. 38/2026/ND-CP, including new regulations on the management, use and maintenance of planting area codes and packing facility codes for export purposes, as well as the responsibilities of organizations and individuals after obtaining the codes. Participants were also briefed on China's import requirements and those of other export markets for fresh fruit planting areas and packing facilities, with a focus on phytosanitary requirements, food safety standards and product traceability.

The program also covered the identification of quarantine pests, pest survey and monitoring methods in line with international standards, and pest management measures for planting areas and packing facilities. Participants also received guidance on establishing, managing and maintaining records for planting areas and packing facilities, including production logs, records on fertilizer and pesticide use and traceability documentation. In addition, the conference introduced the FarmDiary electronic logbook software for managing planting areas and packing facilities, along with practical guidance on updating digital records to support product traceability.

The training aims to strengthen participants' awareness of the need to comply with domestic and international phytosanitary and food safety regulations. It also encourages the proper use of fertilizers and pesticides to ensure residue levels comply with importing countries' requirements, thereby enhancing the value of agricultural exports and helping producers meet increasingly stringent technical requirements in export markets.
