The People’s Committee of Dong Nai City has issued Decision No. 72/QD-UBND dated May 11, 2026, approving the Dong Nai City’s E-commerce Development Plan for the 2026-2030 period.

The plan aims to implement solutions in a synchronized manner to promote e-commerce development across the city, making e-commerce a common business practice for enterprises, cooperatives, and business households, while also fostering modern and civilized consumer habits among residents.
The plan aims to help Dong Nai City achieve breakthrough development in e-commerce, making it a pioneering sector that drives the city's digital economy and enhances the competitiveness of businesses and the city as a whole.
Regarding specific targets, Dong Nai City aims to have e-commerce revenue grow by an average of 15-20% per year by 2030. The city also targets an e-commerce adoption rate of more than 70% among enterprises and a cashless payment rate of more than 80% in e-commerce transactions.
The plan also outlines six key groups of tasks and solutions, including improving mechanisms and policies; developing and upgrading e-commerce infrastructure; creating e-commerce products and technological solutions to support businesses; strengthening management capacity and organization of e-commerce activities; combating commercial fraud, intellectual property violations and unfair competition in e-commerce; developing human resources and improving state management efficiency in e-commerce; as well as expanding e-commerce cooperation and other related tasks.
