In May 2026, departments and agencies will focus on synchronously implementing tasks and solutions to promote growth. The Department of Finance will strengthen budget collection, tighten expenditures, and accelerate public investment disbursement. The Department of Industry and Trade will ensure electricity supply and support industrial and market development. The Department of Agriculture and Environment will address land-related bottlenecks, while the Department of Construction will focus on urban planning and expedite key projects.
Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut noted that, alongside achievements, shortcomings remain: advisory work by some departments is still slow; there is still a tendency to shirk or avoid responsibility; and solutions to address inefficiencies, especially for underperforming projects, have not been fully effective.

To achieve double-digit economic growth, increase public investment disbursement, and meet budget revenue targets, agencies must act more decisively, synchronously, and effectively.
Regarding the ceremony announcing the National Assembly’s resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut requested relevant departments, sectors and localities to proactively prepare reports, organize reception activities carefully, and ensure that all events are conducted solemnly, safely, and in compliance with regulations. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been tasked with finalizing all preparations, from infrastructure and parade arrangements to cultural and artistic programs for the event.
