Import-export revenue rises by over 15%

19:02, 06/04/2026

According to the Region XVIII Customs Sub-Department, in the first three months of the year, state budget revenue from import-export activities exceeded VND5.5 trillion, marking an increase of more than 15% compared to the same period in 2025.

The agency attributed the rise in state budget revenue to higher taxable import turnover among key commodity groups, which increased by over US$397 million. As a result, state budget collections in 2026 rose by more than VND1 trillion year-on-year.

To ensure the 2026 revenue target of VND 23.5 trillion is met, the customs sector will continue to monitor collections on a weekly and monthly basis. At the same time, it will promptly assess factors affecting revenue, implement timely solutions, issue risk warnings, and provide timely updates to affiliated units.
