Under the Dong Nai Province Supporting Industry Development Program for the 2026-2030 period, with a vision to 2035, recently approved by the Provincial People's Committee, the production value of the supporting industry sector in the province has reached 360,066 billion VND, accounting for 21.82% of the total industrial sector and about 47.8% of the total export turnover of the entire industrial sector.

The industrial production value of the supporting industry sector is expected to increase by 8.1% in 2025 compared with the same period in 2024, while the 2021-2025 period recorded a 6.33% increase. The number of enterprises investing in supporting industry product manufacturing currently stands at about 997, up 23 from 2024.

To further promote the development of supporting industry and meet the objectives and requirements of national and local industrial development, the formulation of the Dong Nai Province Supporting Industry Development Program for the 2026-2030 period is considered highly necessary. It will serve as a basis for authorities and sectors across the province to implement tasks and solutions to promote supporting industry development, thereby contributing to industrial growth and fulfilling the assigned growth targets.

The program aims to have around 1,200 enterprises operating in supporting industry sectors across the province by 2030. To achieve this target, it sets out specific measures, including helping enterprises access and participate in central government policies and programs for supporting industry development; promoting international cooperation programs in supporting industry development; helping supporting industry enterprises expand markets; and connecting supply with demand for supporting industry products.

The program also provides for measures to support supporting industry enterprises in investing in machinery and equipment for production; creating industrial land funds to attract investment projects in the supporting industry sector; creating favorable conditions for supporting industry enterprises to access land and production and business premises; and promoting digital transformation and the application of smart factory solutions in production processes and corporate governance to enhance competitiveness, among others.
