Factories and enterprises are entering the new year with high expectations, demonstrating strong determination to fulfill their production and business targets.
Ready to restart production
At Chien You Viet Nam JSC in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park (IP), after a successful year and in line with production schedules and order timelines, the company resumed operations as early as the fifth day of Tet at its hot-dip galvanizing plant. Representing one of the firms restarting operation early, General Director Ha Ngoc Dung affirmed that 2026 is not merely another working year but a year of strong breakthroughs, brand elevation and consolidation of Chien You’s position in the market. The company has accelerated the production of new hot-dip galvanized steel sheets to supply major infrastructure projects, as Dong Nai and the country at large are focusing on large-scale infrastructure development, which requires significant volumes of such materials.
Meanwhile, along with many other enterprises, G.C Food JSC in Ho Nai IP resumed operations on February 23. A company representative said it has gradually built a sustainable “happy food supply chain.” The firm now operates over 200 hectares of GlobalGAP-certified aloe vera farms in Khanh Hoa and in several other south-central provinces. It has signed long-term contracts and provided technical support to farmers to ensure stable yield and quality. In addition, G.C Food runs an aloe vera processing plant in Khanh Hoa with an annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes of finished products, as well as a 15,000-tonne-per-year nata de coco processing facility in Dong Nai. Thanks to a proactive and flexible distribution system and direct partnerships with overseas partners, the company’s products have reached 27 countries, including demanding markets such as the Republic of Korea, Japan, the EU and the Middle East, with further expansion expected
Similarly, Dong Phu Cuong JSC in Phu Cuong Industrial Cluster, Thong Nhat commune reported positive results in 2025, achieving 105% of its annual growth target. On the back of these outcomes, customer orders are projected to rise by 20-30% in 2026 and the following years.
To prepare for the launch of a new factory, the company plans to recruit around 1,000 workers. It has introduced various incentive policies, including referral bonuses and an average 2 million VND bonus for new recruits, while also studying plans to operate shuttle buses within a 30-kilometre radius.
According to experts, the global economy in 2026 is forecast to remain volatile, with mounting competitive pressures. Therefore, enterprises must proactively stabilize their workforce and remain agile in responding to emerging challenges.
Expectations for sustainable growth
For manufacturing and export-oriented enterprises, market prospects remain promising. In the wood processing sector, despite major challenges related to tariffs and anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations, Vietnam’s exports of wood and wooden products still posted positive growth, reaching 17.3 billion USD. In Dong Nai alone, exports of wood and wood products amounted to nearly 2.7 billion USD, up 34.8% year-on-year compared to 2024. Wood exports ranked second nationwide and fourth among Dong Nai’s key export items. Entering 2026, the sector expects to maintain its standing and continue its recovery.
Vo Quang Ha, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Wood and Handicraft Association (Dowa), noted that besides exports, Vietnam’s domestic market of more than 100 million people offers substantial room for growth, particularly for a locality with a long-standing wood processing tradition like Dong Nai. Alongside efforts to penetrate the retail market, wood enterprises also hope to participate more deeply in State-funded public projects to further stimulate production.
Truong Quoc Cuong, Director of Tuong Lai Co., Ltd. in Long Thanh commune, said the past two years marked a crucial transition as the company proactively integrated modern management tools and digital technologies into every stage of production and administration. Labor productivity has increased by 20% following the comprehensive improvement solutions. The firm is continuing to invest in smarter production while strengthening links with supporting industry enterprises in Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City to integrate further into supply chains.
