(ĐN)- On April 14, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of the provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Bien Hoa city to review the city’s socio-economic, security and defense situation in the first quarter of 2016.
According to the report, Bien Hoa city has attained an industrial production value of over VND 71.6 trillion in Jan-March, fulfilling 22 percent of the year’s target, representing a 12 percent year-on-year escalation. Meanwhile, total sales in goods, services and tourism rose by 12-15 percent. In the reviewed period, the city solved jobs for more than 3,400 laborers and reducing the unemployment rate to 2 percent.
Speaking at the working session, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai stressed that the province would give priority to key projects in Bien Hoa city such as schools, drainage and wastewater treatment systems, traffic roads, etc. He also asked the city continue to focus on reforming administrative procedures, streamline procedures and reduce the time for enterprises, increase budget revenues.
