(ĐN)- An additional US$511 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) landed in Dong Nai in Jan-March, fulfilling 548 percent of this year’s plan, doubling the figure of one years ago, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
The capital came from 22 newly-registered projects and 21 adjusted-capital projects.
The RoK took the lead in countries and territories investing in the province. It was followed by those from Japan.
In this period, FDI disbursement also saw a slightly increase of 4.5 percent to US$250 million.
Dong Nai now has more than 1,200 valid foreign projects with a total investment of over US$23.8 billion. So far, the province has revoked investment licenses of 370 projects due to their slow progress.
