Dong Nai's corn imports increase in first four months

(ĐN)- Dong Nai imported over 836,000 tonnes of corn worth US$174 million in the first four months of this year, presenting increases of more than 35 percent in volume and 17 percent in value over the same period last year, reported Dong Nai Statistics Department.

The figure for April only was around 265,000 tones, increased by 5,000 tones compared with the previous month.

The US and India are the province’s biggest corn supplier in the reviewed period.

In Jan-April, Dong Nai also imported US$246 million worth of other materials to produce animal feed.
