(ĐN)- Dong Nai Customs Department has launched the national one-stop-shop mechanism at sea ports since April 11.
Ministries of Transport, Finance, Defense, Health, and Natural Resources and Environment got involved in the national one-stop shop portal to handle administrative procedures through the mechanism.
Under the mechanism, all businesses operating in the field of sea transport will complete procedures relating to exit and entry activities and sea vessels in transit as well as freight information at the national one-stop-shop portal. The mechanism is designed to reduce customs clearance time for businesses by 90 percent and increase their connectivity and information exchanges with State-run management agencies
The application of the national one-stop-shop customs portal in customs procedures will help local businesses to save significant time and costs in their import, export and international shipping activities. This will help them increase their trade revenue and foster administrative reform in local government agencies.
So far, the national one-stop-shop customs mechanism has officially launched at ports in nine localities across the country, namely Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
