Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep attended the conference.
Since 2011, HCM city has signed trade cooperation agreement with the southern cities and provinces. As a result, nearly 1,350 contracts were signed between 2012 and 2015 to boost supply and consumption of products, earning two-way turnover of more than VND22.1 trillion. The businesses also took part in market stabilization program worth nearly VND13.7 trillion.
Dong Nai province is one of the localities that businesses in HCM city have selected to sign cooperation agreements to supply pork, chicken, egg and fruit for HCM city to consume and export as pig and chicken in Dong Nai have been raising under concentrated farming model.
At the conference, leaders from Dong Nai and other 20 provinces and cities singed trade cooperation agreement for the 216-2020 period.
