(ĐN)- Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee on March 1 received the Australian Consul General in HCM City Graeme Swift, on the occasion of her new term in Vietnam.
At the reception, Chairman Thai briefed his guest on Dong Nai's socio-economic situation and acknowledged contributions made by Australian investors to the province’s economic development.
Presently, there are eleven Australian-invested projects in Dong Nai, with a combined investment of US$64 million.
On the occasion, the Chairman called for Australian investment in hi-tech vocational training, support industry as well as environmentally-friendly projects.
The Consul General highly appreciated Dong Nai’s efforts in attracting investment, affirming that Australian enterprises will continue boosting their investments to the province. In her new position, Graeme Swift will do her utmost to enhance collaboration between the two sides.
