According to Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province is now home to some 2,700 farms, an increase of over 100 farms compared to 2013.
On average, each farm produced a value of VND3 billion each year. So far, around 1,000 farms have received farm economy certificates.
Since 2013, Dong Nai has launched many programs to encourage farm economy. The province is estimated to spend some VND1.6 trillion for farm economy development in 2016.
