(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s index of industrial production (IIP) achieved a year-on-year growth rate of 8% in October and 3.06% in the one-month period, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
Industries posting high year-on-year growth included engined-vehicles production at 28.12%, chemical 23.43%, mining 21.85%, leather and leather products 16.65%, garment 12.74%, rubber and plastic products 5.1%, etc.
Several areas posted significant declines, however, such as pulp and paper production at 22.84 percent, tobacco at 13.31 percent and textile at 2.67 percent.
