(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s wood products exports in October estimated at more than US$89 million, bringing the exports value in the first ten months of the year to approximately US$766 548 million, a surge of 6 percent over the same period last year, the provincial Statistics Department announced.
The EU, US and Japan are the major markets for local wood and wood products.
Wood products had been listed as the province's leading export items. Export of wood products is likely to maintain good growth in the remaining months of this year and first half of next year thanks to rising global demand. Presently, many companies have received orders for the second quarter of next year.
