(ĐN)- Total retail sales reached approximately VND82 trillion in the first nine months of this year, a rise of 13 percent against the same period in 2013.
The figure for September was nearly VND9.5 trillion, increased more than 1.2 percent compared with the previous month.
The Department of Industry and Trade's nine-month retail report showed that the trade contributed some VND63 trillion to total revenues, the service, over VND11.5 tril, the hotel-restaurant, VND7.3 tril, and the tourist, VND51 billion.
In this period, the provincial authorities worked to ensure sufficient supply of goods and minimize strong fluctuations in prices.
