The ceremony saw the participation of Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of the provincial People Committee and Vice Secretary Phan Thi My Thanh of the provincial Party’s Committee.
Having investment in Dong Nai since 1994, Taekwang Vina JSC, which produces sport shoes for export, employs more than 24,000 workers. In 2013, the company reported a total revenue of US$400 million, 2.5-fold increase compared to the previous five years. The company achieved an annual growth at 13% and fulfilled its obligations to Vietnam and actively joined local social and charitable efforts.
Addressing the event, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Dinh Quoc Thai, acknowledged substantial contributions made by the company to the province’s economic growth and created thousands of jobs for local residents.
