Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh suggested the corporation to select the area which is favorable to the project of building large field model for coffee cultivation under 4C standard, linking the coffee production with consumption.
The project will help local farmers improve their coffee gardens by providing them with new high-quality variety and technologies for coffee production.
The Vice Chairman also asked Tin Nghia to promptly complete the project, and assigned the province’s Agriculture and Rural Development as the project appraiser.
At the session, representative of the corporation introduced the project of building large field model for coffee cultivation under 4C(Common Code for Coffee Community) standard with the aim to assure coffee sustainable production and trading.
This model has been successfully carried out in many cities and provinces such as Dak Lak, Gia Lai, etc. The large-scale plantation area for coffee are planned to be built in Xuan Loc and Cam My districts, and will be expanded to the other localities in the province.
