(ĐN)- Dong Nai earned more than US$1.5 billion from footwear export in Jan-Sept, a year-on-year increase of 14.5 percent, reported the provincial Statistic Department.
Footwear gained the largest export value in this period.
Since the beginning of the year, many importers have shifted their orders from neighboring countries to Vietnam to benefit from its tariff incentives. Some local footwear producers have received orders for the first quarter of next year. It is estimated that the province’s footwear export turnover will reach US$2.1 billion this year.
