(ĐN)- In the afternoon of January 14, the Corporation for the Development of Dong Nai Industrial Zone (Sonadezi) held a press conference to inform its production and trade activities in 2012 and plans for 2013.
In 2012, Sonadezi attracted 25 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects and 7 domestic ones with a combined registered capital of more than US$163 million, a year-on-year increases of 83 percent in capital and 127.3 percent in number of projects. The corp also reported a turnover of more than VND2.8 trillion last year, fufilling 109 percent of the yearly plan; its employees each earned an average monthly income of over VND6 million.
The corp and its subsidiaries are presently deploying 64 projects in the fields of constructing and trading industrial parks infratructure, industrial complexes, residental areas, urban areas, shopping malls, bridges and roads construction etc.
In 2013, Sonadezi will strive to reach a turnover of more than VND2.6 trillion, the return on equity by 8.48 percent and the monthly personal income of 6.24 million. It is expected to contribute VND223 billion to state budget.
