(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s industrial production index in October rose by 3.3 percent against September and by 2.4 percent over the same month of last year, reported the Department of Industry and Trade.
The figure helps to boost the 10-month index by more than 7 percent over the same period.
In Jan-Oct period, the province’s essential industries still maintained high growth rates. Particularly, food processing climbed 9.5 percent year-on-year, while leather products grew 16 percent, chemical products rose 10 percent.
Meanwhile, a number of industries saw declines in production value. These included paper products, down over 1.5 percent; metal products fell 0.5 percent, electricity and steam, nearly 3 percent.
