(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s consumer price index (CPI) this month has slowed against last month but it still keep rising, according to Department of Industry and Trade.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s consumer price index (CPI) this month has slowed against last month but it still keep rising, according to Department of Industry and Trade.

Particularly, the province’s CPI in October increased by 0.55 percent compared to September.

The group of foodstuff decreases 3.3% in first ten months

The food group in October kept running high, at 1.35%. Similarly, the group of housing, power, water, gas and building materials also saw a rise of 0.81% month-on-month as gas prices were raised by an additional VND16,000; the transport services rose by 0.62%.

In general, the ten-month CPI picked up 6.72% over end-2011.

Accordingly, the groups consisting of housing, power, water, gas, building materials and transport recorded a sharp increase, at more than 9.2%; the group of foodstuff decreased 3.3%.
