Dong Nai’ imports-exports increase sharply in first half

(ĐN)- According to the report from Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai’s export turnover in first half of 2011 is estimated to reach more than US$4.4 billion, fulfilling 53% of the yearly plan and increasing 31.4% year-on-year.

Dong Nais garment exports increase sharply in first half

Particularly, exports from foreign-invested enterprises increased 31.5%; the local enterprises up  30%, and the central enterprises up nearly 30%.

 

Dong Nai’s import value is estimated at more than US$5.3 billion in this period, an increase of 25.5% compared to the same period of last year, making up 55% of the yearly target.

 

Accordingly, imports from the foreign-invested enterprises accounted for approximately 98% of total import in first six months.
