Dong Nai exports almost 2,200 tonnes of honey in first six months

(ĐN)- Dong Nai is likely to export about 2,200 tonnes of honey in the first half of the year, an increase of nearly 100 tonnes as compared to the same period last year, according to the provincial Statistic Department.

Honey is one of Dong Nai’s three major agricultural products which have seen the rise in export volume.

 

Bee breeding in Thua Duc comume, cam My district

Bee breeding has developed strongly in the province. Currently, there are almost 50,000 bee hives in the province and the total annual honey yield from these hives is 1,000 tonnes. The four districts of Dinh Quan, Cam My, Thong Nhat and Trang Bom  are the province’s largest bee breeding areas.
