Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot and his counterpart Nguyen Van Nien from Tay Ninh province signed a cooperation agreement in Dong Nai on November 6, 2009. The two sides discussed plans in 2009-2010 period and orientations until 2015 for cooperation on a variety of areas including industry, construction, tourism, trade, agriculture, service, education, telecommunications…
After more than one year of intense bilateral and trade cooperation, the two provinces have implemented many cooperation programs that benefited both sides, Chairwoman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy said. Particularly, Dong Nai has so far invested over US$ 127 million in six projects in Tay Ninh province and poured VND 33 billion into Tay Ninh to build industrial park infrastructure, develop the footwear and wood processing industries and construct the tobacco planting area. In addition to trade and investment ties, the two sides have also strengthened cooperation in the fields of education, technology, and tourism…
At the meeting, leaders of Dong Nai and Tay Ninh provinces pledged to further boost bilateral cooperation and exchanges in various areas.
The meeting also provided the opportunity for Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot to share Dong Nai’s experiences in investment attraction, infrastructure construction and industrial development. Mot also vowed that the provincial government will encourage more companies to join in Tay Ninhs development.
