(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s retail sales of goods and services in April is estimated at more than VND5.3 trillion, up 3.3 percent month-on-month, Department of Industry and Trade reported.
The figure brings the province’s total four-month retail sales to over VND21.2 trillion, an increase of 25.3 percent against the same period of last year, fulfilling 31 percent of the year’s target.
Of this number, the hotel and restaurant sector registered the highest growth of 26.6%. The increased figures for the trade and service sectors were 25 per cent and 26.5 per cent, respectively.
In April, the service sector saw a highest rise of 3.6% due to rising demand for travel during holidays.
