(ĐN)- The pepper prices in Dong Nai reached their highest level ever in April. The latest price is VND120,000-VND122,000 a kilogram for black pepper, up VND 12,000 – VND 15,000 compared to the beginning of April 2011 and VND 170,000 – VND 172,000 a kilogram for white pepper, up over VND 20,0000.

These prices guaranteed great profit for pepper growers, but the number of households in Dong Nai province having pepper for sale is not much. Most of pepper growers in the province have sold out their products after harvesting.
