Donafoods’ export turnover reaches $3.1 mil in Jan

(ĐN)- Donafoods exported $3.1 million worth of cashew nuts to US, Japan, Australia and China on Janurary, a 33 percent year-on-year increase, said Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, General Director of the company.

The company targets to export 6,330 tones of cashew nuts, 8,442 tones of cashew cover oil and 1,900 tons of other instant food totaling approximately $47 million.

In 2010, Donafoods reported a profit of nearly VND30 billion, provided jobs to more than 9,100 laborers with an average monthly income of VND2.9 million per person.

Donafoods is one of the largest producers of processed cashew nuts and cashew oil in the country.
