(ĐN)- Dong Nai will invest more than US$1.6 million into the project of Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety (LIFSAP) in 2011, according to Dong Nai provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Particularly, the province will fund the construction of biogas plants and breeding infrastructure for selected breeders; training courses and seminars on bio-security measures on breeding will be also organized; five slaughter-houses and twenty-two markets in districts are going to upgraded in order to ensure food safety and hygiene
The project will be implemented until 2015 with a total investment of US$6.4 million, financed by the World Bank. Dong Nai is one of five provinces and cities nationwide selected to deploy this project.
