(ĐN)- Dong Nai has agreed to allocate more than VND50 billion in support of local people who had to kill their pigs infected with blue-ear pig disease, according to Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The blue-ear pig disease has occurred in most of the districts, town and city in the whole province. A total of more than 100,000 pigs were found to be infected and over 55,000 had to be destroyed. Total losses are estimated to be over VND400 billion.
