(ĐN)- Dong Nai is estimated to earn an export turnover of more than US$5.2 billion in Jan-Sept, a year-on-year increase of 24.2 percent. Of the total, exports from central enterprises accounted for US$128 million, up 11.3 percent; the local enterprises earned more than US$ 300 million, up 14.5 percent, and the foreign-invested enterprises reached over US$4.8 billion, up 25.2 percent.
Over the past nine months, the province exported 24,660 tonnes of coffee, up 12.2 percent, 5,300 tonnes of cashew nut, an increase of 15.3 percent, and 2,550 tonnes of bee honey, up 17.5 percent. Besides, textile and garment exports from Dong Nai increased 7% to US$25.9 million in the first nine months, leather and footwear exports rose 15 percent to US$21.69 million, refined wooden increased 18 percent to US$21.8 million.
