The province’s total retail sales of goods and services in May is estimated to reach more than VND4 trillion, up 2.8 percent month-on-month, bringing the figure in five months to over VND19.2 trillion, a 26.6 percent rise compared with the same period last year. Particularly, the non-state sector registered the highest turnover of VND16.6 trillion, followed by the foreign-owned sector with more than VND1.3 tril and the state-owned sector, approximately VND1.3 tril.
In first half of this year, Dong Nai’s total retail sales are expected to rise 26 percent year-on-year to more than VND23 tril, accounting for more than 42 percent of the yearly plan.
