(ĐN)- This statement was made by Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh at a meeting held on May 25 to discuss the implementation schedule of a hi-tech park project in Cam My district.
The project, with an estimated total investment capital of around VND 1 trillion, will be built on more than 200 hectares in Cam My district’s Cam Duong commune,. with carry out research on biotechnology application to produce high-quality and high-yield plant and animal varieties. It will also apply advanced biotechnologies in diagnoses of diseases and preventive medicine, and environment protection, while helping create a link between research establishments and farmers and businesses. The project, when completed, will attract around 10,000 scientists and technicians.
The project is now underway, which includes organizing the bidding for new access roads to the site, ….
Addressing at the meeting, secretary Tran Dinh Thanh stressed the need to give special attention to supplying sufficient and qualified human resources for the hi-tech park project as well as investment attraction to the hi-tech park. He also suggested that the province should develop the links with universities and colleges for tailored training.
