(ĐN)- According to the Farmers’ Association of Thanh Son Commune in Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai province, the price of mandarin orange this year is double than that of last year. In this year’s crop, the price of the sale of mandarin orange at the garden was VND 15,000 – VND 17,000 per kilo. With this price, farmers can earn a profit of more than VND200 million per hectare after the production cost is deducted. Thanh Son commune now has more than 800 hectares of mandarin orange under cultivation. Mandarin growers in Thanh Son commune achieved a yield between 25 tons and 28 tons per hectare in this crop. Especially, farmers, who have adopted new/improved farming practices, harvested as much as over 30 tons per hectare.
