(ĐN)- According to the Xuan Loc District Agriculture and Rural Development Office, Water Saving Irrigation Method was developed and widely popularized in the district and the application of fertilizer through irrigation systems was also promoted in the locality. So far, the district has brought more than 442 hectares of pepper, mango, coffee and cashew under this water saving irrigation method. In addition, local farmers also adopted the advanced agricultural technologies. Especiallly in communes of Xuan Tho, Suoi Cao and Xuan Hung, this combination helped to increase the yield of pepper to 7-10 tonnes per hectare, the yield of cashew to 3-3.5 tonnes per hectare and the yield of mangoes ranged between 30-35 tonnes per hectare.
