US$16.5 mil investment for Oriental hotel in Laos

(ĐN)- Tin Nghia company has recently awarded a construction contract to Gaupa Lao Construction Company to complete the construction of Oriental Hotel. The total investment capital for the project is planned at US$16.5 million.

(ĐN)- Tin Nghia Company purchased a hotel in Phonthong district of Champasak province, Laos known as Champasak Oriental Hotel for over US$4 million from a Thai investor on November 3. 2008. The construction project of Champasak Oriental Hotel kicked of in the end of 2006 and now 30% of the construction has been completed. This hotel comprises of 4 main buildings. Each building is a 3-stored building consists of 112 rooms. Each building has a conventional hall which can accommodate more than 2,000 people.

Tin Nghia company has recently awarded a construction contract to Gaupa Lao Construction Company to complete the construction of Oriental Hotel. The total investment capital for the project is planned at US$16.5 million. The construction period of the project will be 180 days and the main items of the project are expected to be completed in 2010.

This is the second investment project  of Tin Nghia Company in Laos’ Champasak province. The first  investment project concerned development of a coffee growing area covering 230 hectares with a total investment of US$ 3 million. Tin Nghia company plans to grow coffee on another 50 hectares and it also aims to increase the area under coffee to 550 -600 hectares in 2010.
