Of the total, revenue from import-export taxes and special consumption taxes reached over VND1.6 tril while that from value-added taxes was more than VND 2.24 tril.
In addition, the provincial customs department handled 770 administrative punishment cases with a total fine of nearly VND 13 billion.
Revenue from import-export taxes collected by the customs in 2009 is expected to reach VND 5.2 tril, exceeding the years target by 15%.
