Development of cooperatives in Trang Bom district

So far, Trang Bom district in Dong Nai province has developed 20 cooperatives and people’s credit funds, employing more than 7,600 laborers.

So far, Trang Bom district in Dong Nai province has developed 20 cooperatives and people’s credit funds, employing more than 7,600 laborers. Thong Nhat Transport Cooperative located in Quang Tien commue has been appreciated as the most effective cooperative in the district. It has a total capital of over 40 billion.  Its employees have stable income now and each earns an average monthly income of over 2 million VND. Thong Nhat Transport Cooperative will launch a bus route linking Dong Nai and Ba Ria-Vung Tau in November, according to the chairman of the Cooperative.

Thuan Phat Trading and Services Cooperative in Song Thao commune, has earned profits since it was established in April this year. Thuan Phat has a chartered capital of 200 million VND, specialising in various fields such as construction, drinking water purification and fresh water supply…. The cooperative is now home to 15 laborers with an average monthly income of about VND1.5 million each. It earned a turnover of 150 million VND and contributed over 30 million VND to the State Budget.

Trang Bom district plans to establish two people’s credit funds and five cooperatives in the remaining 3 months of the year.
