(ĐN)- Metro Cash & Carry Viet Nam Ltd, a wholesaler and subsidiary of German Metro Group on August 12 held a conference for its potential suppliers at a hotel in Dong Nai province. The event attracted more than 100 farmers and ranchers across the province. The conference aimed to provide information about Metro Cash & Carry’s needs and their requirements on supplying prepacked fresh products. The Metro also said they would try to help local farmers produce safe vegetables in accordance with international standards, aiming to raise the percentage of locally-made farm produce at their outlets across the country. Bibica, CP, Ajinomoto, Truong An and some companies in Dong Nai are among the suppliers of Metro Cash & Carry.
